Pace Bend Park

Austin, Texas has lots of incredible ways to experience and explore the outdoors. There are also an abundance of County and State Parks ready to be enjoyed. One park just outside of Austin in Spicewood is called Pace Bend Park.

Encompassing 1,368 acres, Pace Bend Park is gorgeous, located on Lake Travis, and has tons of available activities. Options include Barbecue Grills, Fire Rings, Boat Ramps (3), Fishing, Improved Campsites (20), Multi-Use Trails, Out-house Style Toilets, Picnic Tables, Primitive Campsites (400+), Designated Swim Coves, RV Dump Station and more. For dog lovers, dogs are allowed in Pace Bend Park as long as they are on leash! The website also lists a few other rules to abide by in relation to pets and park usage.

The Park charges a cash fee at the entrance depending on your activity, and reservations can be made in advance for the campsites.
