Austin is home to the only nude beach in the state of Texas. Lake Travis is a beloved Austin lake that residents and tourists love to visit. Hippie Hollow is a beach located on Lake Travis where clothing is optional.
Austin is not home to any professional sports teams. Although that may soon change, currently Austin does not house any professional sports teams. It is, however, to The University of Texas and the city loves to cheer on the Longhorns!
Austin is the only city in the world that currently operates Moonlight towers. Originally built in 1894, these towers are recognized as Texas State Landmarks and are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
